The mission of the Ladies Ministries of the TN District UPCI is to equip and mobilize Apostolic ladies for service in the kingdom of God; to maintain a spirit of cooperation with the various ministries of our organization; to preserve Apostolic doctrine; and to maintain and transmit the heritage of the past to the present and future generations through teaching and by example.

Ladies Ministries Director

Mitzi McElhaney has served as TN District UPC Ladies Ministries Director since 2022. Prior to this she served as the TN District UPC Ladies Ministries Secretary and also many years on the board as the Section 5 Ladies Director. Ladies Conference is a highlight of the TN Ladies each year and one of Mitzi’s favorite events to plan. She also loves Daughters of Destiny, a retreat for girls ages 10-15, with over 200 excited young ladies in attendance. Ladies meetings, speaking engagements and activities are always a pleasure for her to be involved in. Mitzi is the wife of Jonathan McElhaney and together they pastor a growing, revival church in Franklin, TN. They have been married for 27 years and have 4 beautiful children……Morgan, Mason, Miles, and Madelyn. Mitzi has been involved in ministry for over 27 years and loves serving in whatever area she can. She enjoys relaxing over coffee with friends, being with her children and family, and loves anything sweet!! Mitzi is honored and excited to serve
the TN District as the Director of Ladies Ministries.

Ladies Ministries Secretary

Genie Blackmon has served in the TN District Ladies Department since 2020. First serving as Director of Promotions. She resides in Sevierville Tn, where she is wife to Pastor Daron Blackmon, proud mom to Peyton and Gavin Blackmon & pastor’s wife to The Pentecostals of Sevierville church family. Her hobbies include coffee, food, and traveling. Her favorite memories are made by spending time with her family!
