Bro. Ron Brown graduated from Apostolic Bible Institute in 1970, and married fellow graduate Patricia Jenkins soon after graduation. Their ministry took them into evangelistic work, and to pastorates in Ontario and Iowa. In 1985 they moved to Tennessee and pastored Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church in Jackson for 20 years. He served as a district presbyter in TN for 15 years. In 2005 Bro. Brown was elected to the office of District Superintendent. He resigned the church and has filled this full time responsibility since 2005.
Rev. Jackie Wilkerson and his wife, Sharron, first came to the Tennessee District in 1978 as full time evangelist for the Missouri District. In October, 1981 the Wilkerson’s were elected as the pastor of the First United Pentecostal Church of Humboldt, Tennessee. During their 29 years of pastorate in Humboldt they led the congregation to a record attendance of 184 and the completion of a new facility on the Hwy 45 By-Pass in Humboldt. At the 1985 District Conference Bro. Wilkerson was asked to serve as District Youth Secretary. He served until elected as Presbyter of Section 8 in 1991. After 19 years as Presbyter in April, 2010 Bro. Wilkerson was elected District Secretary of the Tennessee District. He is an ordained minister of the United Pentecostal Church International with credentials for over 40 years. The Wilkerson’s have two sons: Jared & Seth.
